Shifts range between 5:30am 3:30pm. Min 37 hours per week. Flexibility is a must.
As Head Chef your responsibilities will include; The day to day running of the kitchen Food Safety & Compliance Health, Safety & Hygiene Protocols Accident Reporting Product Purchasing & Returns Menu & Cabinet Food Development Monitoring Kitchen Productivity Stock Control & Rotation Managing Food Costs & Wastage Supervising the Kitchen Team You will need to have a passion for making high quality meals in a fast-paced environment to Columbus Coffee Franchise standards. A good knowledge of all areas of the kitchen including cooking, baking, food prep and dietary requirements. You will be well organised, have excellent time keeping skills and the ability to multi-task.
You must be clean and tidy in both your person and work station. As we are part of a large franchise we provide a wide range of support from our Head Office Team, all menus are developed by the Columbus Food Team however, there is room for you to be creative and innovative when creating our own signature local favourite menu items. You will also have plenty of room to be creative when designing items for our cabinet range.
You must have at least 5 years minimum experience in a similar role. Minimum cookery level 4 Qualification. Experience with Food Safety and using an FCP.
